"WHERE HEALTH IS CONCERNED,
THERE CAN BE NO COMPROMISE WITH QUALITY"

VITAMINS ARE...
relatively complex organic substances occurring naturally in plant and animal tissue for metabolic processes, although they do not directly contribute toward energy or the building of tissue.

The important role of vitamins is to form complex compounds in the body which have the enzyme activity necessary for the conversion of food to energy and tissue building. Thus most vitamins are truly essential to proper growth and the maintenance of health.

All vitamins can be supplied by a well balanced diet, but many people - for one reason or another - do not eat the necessary variety of foods to assure themselves of getting all the vitamins they actually need. For these people, vitamin supplements are important.

NATURAL BECAUSE...
the last half century has witnessed the isolation of essential nutritional elements from naturally grown foods, and research in this field is continuing at a rapid pace.  No one can predict how many more essential nutrients might be isolated over the next fifty years, but until isolated, they cannot be reproduced biologically or chemically - or manufactured.

Natural vitamins come to you with these naturally associated nutritional factors intact - factors which may be missing from synthetically reproduced vitamins.

EXCIPIENTS

The excipients (fillers) are chosen for purity and functionality.  The majority of excipient content provides nutritional value, such as extra calcium or magnesium, even though it may not appear on the label.
Following is a list of excipients used in these products:

GUMS - Acacia, guar, xanthum.  Used as binding and disintegrating agents.  Derived from plants and trees,
CALCIUM PHOSPHATE, CARBONATE SULFATE - Used as sources of calcium and as carriers for other actives.  Naturally occurring minerals carefully purified to pharmaceutical standards.
CELLULOSE - Various forms derived from plants and trees.  Different types of cellulose are used for binding, disintegration, moisture control, coating and flowability.
VEGETABLE STEARINE -
A wax derived from vegetable sources used as a lubricant in tablet compressing.
MAGNESIUM AND CALCIUM STEARATE - A combination of these minerals and vegetable stearine.
SILICA - A mined mineral used as  a flow agent and as a source of silicon.

VEGETARIAN - product does not contain any ingredients from animal sources.

HYPOALLERGENIC - product does not contain any recognized potential food allergens.

The tablets and powders do not contain preservatives, artificial sweeteners, flavors or colors.  However, in certain liquids the use of natural ingredients can provide a potential for bacterial growth.  While product integrity can be assured with proper handling and use, we can not insure that everyone would follow proper storage directions.  In those products considered sensitive, it is better to provide proper preservative protection rather than risk potential harm.
